returning for a meal at gran's is more of a trip to revisit your past and recollect your memories than just a plain obligatory visit of the old folks. i used to hate visiting them cause i felt that it was so far tho it wasnt. i felt that there wasnt much of a reason to cause i thought i've outgrown them. but, as i grew up, it feels like time is running faster and shorter. it feels like there isnt enough time to be with them. it feels like in a while, they wont witness e rest of my life anymore. man, this alw makes my nose goes sour ):

there was a baby at gran's yesterday and it was really heartwarming to see both grampys fussing over e kid. e entire scene was just soooo adorable. it's like you are looking into a window of e past where they used to fuss w e you that resembles more of a mouse then. granny was like 'ah fin ah! ni yi qian ye shi zhe yang. xiao xiao de!' and she will look up at me and give me a really happy grin while showing me how ridiculously small i was. smhow, when they grow older, they look cuter and more child-like than ever. she used to alw tells me i resemble a dustbin. she said i would just lay there on the mattress and wait for food to come. and when it does, she would tell me to open my mouth and just drop the spoonful of porridge in! just like an automatic dustbin -.-

and and! granny would never fail to make me my favourite 'yee'. you know, those colourful stuffs found on the burburchacha? it's like my favourite dessert tho it is so simple! and what brightens my day is not that it is my favourite food but the fact that hey! my granny remembers! (:

oh btw, remember fruitips? e all time favourite gummy when you were still a kid and couldn afford the assorted gummies at stores like 'more than words'? well, they are selling it at $1.80 now instead of $0.80 ten freaking years ago! ): oh wells, my gramps used to buy them for me weekly and so i will continue to get them for old times sake. be glad that they are still available tho i hate inflation.
