it's never selfishyou know, long draggy bus rides home really sent truckloads of thoughts go streaming past that brain of mine. esp so during nightfalls. thr's alw this serenity feel circulating around me as i stare into the darkness at spots within the radius of the soft orange light. the slow and relaxed mood can only last so far; only within that 30mins ride.
working in the service line took me on a sudden realization that hey! i really love my kitchen job like loads and loads! i wanna be in the action on the busiest day of the week, the day that the kitchen is almost packed and everyone will be going all hyped with the torrential flow of orders. the order machine will beep merrily but unpleasantly and then be followed by our dear coordinator's verbal shouting as if he was the interpretor for the machine.
the 1mth break i took from the kitchen really helped! esp so when i was on the brink of just leaving that job forever. im really pleased with these 2 days of work ((: the prawns came out looking prettier and prettier. cooking is called
culinaryARTS for a reason! hahahs! and yayness! im no longer getting confused at coordinating alr! ((: anw, e bottomline is that it's all e comfyness that really tugs at the heart to just stay for good man.
anw, the above kitchen talk kinda formed part of my thoughts bout life? hahs! every individual has his/her own sets of passion/interests and priorties. most of us deemed another's love as a loserish idea cuz its importance fails to match up to our own priorities. (this isnt really coming out right! urgh) anw, to each and his own passion i guess! as long as we achieved that smth tt we really want to, we are winners in our own little way. norms doesnt set the standards. passion does.
smtimes, i may get kinda downtrodden when i see e peers leading their uni lives while i am stuck in poly. luckily for me, the major consolation is that at least im doing smth i love instead of wandering around aimlessly. it's really unexpected that despite everything (exhaustion from shuttling to and fro work and sch, projects, dad's unhappiness, personal time, time w mom and friends, etc.), i can still safely say that im happy, truely blessed in fact. it was those initial moments of struggles that i learn indeed, how to take things in my stride and to retrieve joy in its lil minute form!
im really lousy w words! sooooooooo, doubt im making any sense. hahahs!
the sudden death of a sec school teacher last week displayed e fragility of life. so pple, love yourself, your friends and even your enemies! cherish e loves! (: a short 10mins may be your last opportunity of doing so. sighh. you know, i still cant believe that it was that short 10mins that changed that 3 lives forever. a husband to a widower and 2 kids whom have lost their mom to death even before getting to know the reasons to their existence.
